Which roar is louder?

24 November 2025
Scripture in this reflectionProverbs 3:5-6 · Revelation 5:5

Lovely new week to you.

You know, interestingly, I came to understand that there are two fears that we’re born with — the fear of falling and the fear of loud sounds. Every other fear is learned over time through experiences, voices, and past conditioning.

And many times, there are lots of sounds that make us scramble around in fear, in panic.

It can be the sound of tough decisions and you’re just paralysed by fear.

It can be a transition from something that you’ve known and are familiar with, and a call into deeper and unfamiliar places.

It can be the sound of “go,” but you don’t have the roadmap. You don’t know what this is all about.

Sounds can come with fear. When a lion roars, the jungle takes notice.

So which sound is louder in your life? Is it the roar of your fears, or the roar of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah?

You see, He gives us sufficient light for the next step that we need to take — we only need to trust and not lean on our own understanding, and in all our ways continue to acknowledge Him. So take the step you can see; God will reveal the rest.

This week, let His roar come alive in you to face every mountain on your way. When His roar becomes louder than your doubts, clarity begins to rise.

Yours in walking and becoming,

Teim

Reframed is Out!!!

When we sit with the Word, it comes alive — and the roar of the Lion of Judah begins to silence every fearful sound.

Which is why I created the Reframed Devotional.

It guides you through 13 women in Scripture, each studied over 7 days with reflections, practical applications, and space to journal. And at the end of each week, there’s a moment to pause and review the lessons from that woman in the light of your own life.

If you’ve been longing for a devotional that slows you down, grounds you, and strengthens your faith journey, this is for you.

Reframed is now available to buy and makes a beautiful gift this Christmas.
