Led in Paths of Righteousness
I trust April has been a great month for you.
As we continue our journey through Psalms 23 I have come to realise that sometimes the issue isn’t that you don’t know what to do.
It’s that everything feels… unclear.
Not completely off. Just foggy enough to make you question yourself.
You try to think it through. You try to “figure it out.”
You even pray about it. And still… the clarity doesn’t come as it should.
But there's something about the way the verse is ordered that make me realise that in most cases - the problem isn’t direction… but capacity.
In Psalm 23, it says:
“He restores my soul… He leads me in paths of righteousness…”
Restoration comes before being led in the path.
Which means sometimes, the reason things feel unclear is not because God isn’t speaking — but because your soul is too overwhelmed to process what He’s already saying.
When your soul is tired:
Even simple decisions feel complicated.
Not because they are…
but because you’re trying to carry them with an exhausted inner world.
And many times do the opposite of what we truly need.
We try to push for clarity…
when what we actually need is restoration.
We try to make decisions…
when what we actually need is stillness.
We try to move forward…
when what we actually need is to be reset.
Because clarity doesn’t come from forcing answers.
It comes from a soul that has been quieted enough to hear again.
So instead of asking:
“What should I do next?”
Try asking:
“What does my soul need right now?”
And as simple as it sounds…
that’s often where clarity begins.
Not in striving.
But in stillness.
Not in pressure.
But in restoration.
You don’t have to rush your way into the “right path.”
When your soul is restored…
you’ll recognise it more easily than you think.
And the beauty of it? You’re not just being shown a path— you’re being shaped as you walk it.
Keep walking. Keep believing. Keep becoming the amazing woman God already sees. Listen because nature is speaking.
Yours in walking and becoming,
Teim❤️
