The Hidden Message Encrypted Within Your Calendar
A new week is here already.
And every new week, for me, feels like a blank cheque — one where you get to write whatever you will on it.
They say the best thing you can do with the past is learn from it. The best thing you can do with the present is pivot from it. And the best thing you can do for the future is plan for it.
But there is something deeper that determines how we do all three.
Identity.
Everything we will ever achieve with our past, present, or future is tied to how we see ourselves.
This month, we are exploring identity — and we defined identity as the compass through which all of life is seen.
Today I want to talk about something very practical: the message hidden within your calendar and your schedule.
A thought struck me recently and that is:
An audit of the use of our time is an audit of the value of our lives.
How we use our time often reflects how much value we place on our lives.
I know that can feel uncomfortable to hear. It is uncomfortable for me as I write it as well,
Because if you are like me- you might say the right things about yourself.
Affirm that you are a daughter of the King, a child of the Most High and declare that everything God says about us is true.
And those things are indeed true.
But if everything we do with our time consistently contradicts what we say about ourselves, then our actions may be revealing what we truly believe.
So perhaps it’s time we sat with our days for a moment.
Does your day match who you say you are?
Does your schedule reflect the identity you claim?
Because at the core of time management is not productivity.
It is identity.
Your repeated yeses and noes are quietly shaping the life you are living.
And sometimes the most honest place to discover what we believe about ourselves is simply to look at how we spend our time.
So this week, pause and observe your days.
Your calendar might be telling a deeper story than you realise.
Thank you for walking this journey with me.
Keep walking. Keep believing. Keep becoming the woman God already sees.
Yours in walking and becoming,
Teim❤️
