The Confidence to Stay
One of the hardest things about transformation is that it rarely feels dramatic while it is happening.
Most times, it feels repetitive. Slow. Uncomfortable.
And because of that, it is so easy to mistake normal resistance for failure.
In this week’s episode of Reframe Her Worth, we explored why true transformation often requires staying longer than we expected because indeed the atmosphere shifts when we choose to stay a little longer.
The story of the Canaanite woman stood out deeply to me.
Despite silence, resistance, and responses that could easily have discouraged her, she stayed. She was convinced there was still hope on the other side of persistence and I strongly believe she was convinced about what she wanted and that she was worth the effort.
And honestly, I think many of us abandon ourselves too quickly.
We stop because the results are not instant. We assume growth is not happening because we cannot immediately see evidence of it.
But transformation is rarely instant. The path usually forms through repetition.
A mindset shaped over years often requires intentional renewal over time.
Healing requires staying. Confidence requires staying. Growth requires staying.
One line from this episode that stood out for was this:
“Persistence is a firm belief that there is something beautiful on the other side of staying.”
Maybe this is your reminder not to quit too early.
Not every difficult season is rejection. Sometimes you are simply in the middle of becoming.
Reflection
Keep walking. Keep believing. Keep becoming the amazing woman God already sees.
Yours in walking and becoming,
Teim❤️
