Rest in Your Worth

It’s so lovely to write you this — it’s been a while. 💛

Thank you for being here and for being part of this community. Your presence is such a blessing, and my heart’s desire is that you keep growing — in your knowledge of God, and in everything He has planned for you.

You see, God has so much to unpack in each of our lives. He has a plan. There is a template. There is a blueprint for who He created you to be.

That’s why we don’t need to remain in those places of doubt — the places that whisper, “You’re not enough” or “You can’t do what God said you would do.” If He said it, He will do it — because He’s a God of His word. He’s not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He would change His mind. 🙏🏾

This week on the podcast, I shared something very close to my heart — that quiet pressure we often feel to equate busyness with meaning. Sometimes we fill our to-do lists with so much, believing that once we tick every box, then we’ll finally feel sufficient… then we’ll be excellent… then we’ll be enough.

But sometimes, that’s just the performance trap — a form of striving for approval, cloaked in good intentions.

Sometimes, only one thing is necessary — just like Jesus said to Martha. It’s simply sitting at His feet.

Because when we chase perfection at the expense of peace, we lose rest and end up restless. Our lives begin to look like that fig tree in Scripture — full of leaves, full of activity, but bearing little fruit. 🍃

That’s what busyness without becoming looks like. Lots of movement, but not much meaning.
