Don’t Let Busyness Redefine You
A lovely new week to you. It's March already how exciting!
The last few weeks for me have been a little bit full with a lot of activity, deadlines here and there as I was finishing one job and preparing to start another. There were things to wrap up on one side and things to get going on the other.
It made time feel very pressured.
Like there was always something still pending. Something not yet done.
And if I’m honest, it’s so easy to let that become normal — to let that sense of pressure quietly define your everyday experience instead of recognising it as a season.
One thing I’ve been reflecting on is how quickly our identity can quickly start to look like a reaction.
Almost like a chameleon - ever-changing depending on the environment
We’re brave in the right environment. Less courageous in another. We procrastinate in one space. We’re up and doing in the next.
And when you notice all those different versions of yourself, it can leave you wondering, Who am I really?
That’s what this week’s podcast is about.
It’s an invitation to go back — not to performance, not to pressure — but to the very beginning.
To what was spoken concerning you.
To the moment God looked at His creation with anticipation and wonder and said, “It is good.” Not average. Not barely acceptable. Very good.
And I think sometimes in the middle of everyday living — emails, expectations, deadlines, the 1million and one responsibilities (haha) — we forget that.
So this week, I’m reminding you (and myself): Don’t let that wonder be lost on you.
You are not just a response to your environment. You are not just the productive version of yourself. Or the hesitant one.
You are the one God called good.
The episode is up now. I’d love for you to listen, reflect, and share it with someone who might need that reminder too.
Thank you for walking this journey with me.
Keep believing.
Keep becoming the woman God already sees.
Yours in walking and becoming,❤️
