Don't dim your light - let it shine!

You know that scripture — “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” It’s such a key scripture. Many times, we quote it and know we need to shine our light and do good works. But here’s the thing — it’s the visibility of those good works that actually points people to the Father.

Good works that are not seen or acknowledged don’t necessarily point others to Him. So, it’s important to recognize that your good works — yes, yours — are meant to be seen. It’s okay for them to be visible, and it’s okay for you to receive appreciation for a job well done. That’s not taking God’s glory; it’s actually radiating His glory, because people are seeing His light shine through your life and your work. ✨ This week, take every compliment and every word of appreciation with grace and gratitude.
